Day AI vs ZoomInfo GTM AI: two context graphs for go-to-market
Updated
The short answer. Both products sell a context graph for go-to-market teams, and they fill it with different things. ZoomInfo GTM AI starts from ZoomInfo's data on 100 million companies, 500 million contacts and their buying signals. Day AI starts from your own team's email, meetings and calls, resolved to the people, companies and deals involved, with each person's privacy rules applied as the data arrives, and its agents can find new prospects and run outbound campaigns from that graph (in beta). Pick ZoomInfo when your agents lack data on accounts you haven't met. Pick Day AI when they lack what your team already knows about the accounts you're working. Many teams want both, and Day AI's agents can read ZoomInfo over MCP.

At a glance
| Day AI | ZoomInfo GTM AI | |
|---|---|---|
| What the graph starts from | Your team's email, calendar, meetings, calls (including Gong and Granola history) and Slack | ZoomInfo's company, contact, technographic, intent and news data |
| Your own customer history | The core of the graph. Each person connects their own Gmail. | Added when a ZoomInfo admin connects CRM, calendar and email, and call sources at the tenant level |
| Who sees what | Visibility set per thread as it arrives, from each person's sharing rules. Agents act with their person's permissions. | Results respect each user's access permissions |
| Agents | Standing agents with jobs, skills and schedules, deployed across the team | Context Agents and skills that research and recommend for the agent you bring (Claude Code, Codex, your app) |
| Writes to your CRM | Yes, through the Salesforce or HubSpot MCP under each person's login, or Day AI is the record | No. Recommended changes are drafts; writing needs a separate workflow |
| Agent access | MCP (Turbo and up) for Claude, Claude Code and Cursor; TypeScript SDK | MCP, REST API, CLI; Claude Code plugin |
| Data on accounts you haven't met | Prospecting (beta, Executive): finds new people by ideal customer profile, title or lookalike, each with a verified email | Its core strength |
| Outbound campaigns | Campaigns (beta, Executive): agents draft each email from your graph, run follow-ups that stop on reply, and send from the rep's own Gmail after the rep approves | Supplies contacts, direct dials and signals to the agent or tool you bring |
Two graphs of different things
"Context graph" became a category label in late 2025, and the products under it hold different data. ZoomInfo's graph is a graph of the market. Its homepage calls itself "the context graph for your GTM AI" and puts ZoomInfo data first: firmographics, contacts with direct dials, company hierarchies, installed technologies, intent surges and news such as funding rounds and leadership moves. Customer history is a layer it adds when you connect your sources.
Day AI's graph is a graph of your own activity. It is built from what your team actually did: the thread where the buyer named their procurement step, the call where the champion said budget moved to Q1, the meeting nobody logged. Each fact links to the conversation it came from, and data on the wider market is a layer it adds.
ZoomInfo GTM AI
What it is. GTM AI is ZoomInfo's headless layer for agents, launched in June 2026. It exposes ZoomInfo's data through MCP, a REST API and a CLI, with a plugin for Claude Code. Context Agents handle account research, contact research, conversation intelligence, signals, web research and business context. Skills such as Account Health, Commitment Ledger and Next Best Action package repeatable jobs.
Best at. Accounts and people you don't know yet. It covers more than 100 million companies and 500 million contacts and processes over 1.5 billion data points a day. No graph built from your own inbox can tell you who the new VP of Finance at a target account is.
Where it falls short. Your own history comes second. CRM, calendar and email, and call sources (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Gong or ZoomInfo Chorus) are connected at the ZoomInfo tenant level by a ZoomInfo admin, and ZoomInfo says setup depends on the provider and your subscription. Its research tools don't change your CRM. ZoomInfo's setup guide says recommended CRM changes stay drafts until a separately connected workflow applies them.
Who it's for. Teams whose biggest gap is coverage of their market, especially those already buying ZoomInfo data, and builders who want verified B2B data inside Claude Code without a sales call.
Day AI
What it is. Day AI provides the context graph and agent control plane to quickly and securely upgrade your company brain. Its graph is built from your team's email, calendar, meetings, Gong and Granola history and Slack, with every source resolved to the same people, companies and deals. Its agents also prospect and run outbound campaigns from the same graph. It can run as an AI-native CRM or on top of Salesforce or HubSpot.
Best at. A shared graph that stays private where it should. Each person connects their own Gmail and sets sharing rules by domain, address or Gmail label. Day AI decides who can see each thread when it arrives, and agents act with their person's permissions, so a rep's agent never answers from a thread that rep couldn't open. Answers cite the call or message they came from. Agents are standing members of the team with jobs and schedules, and they write back: with the Salesforce or HubSpot MCP connected, they update deal stages, notes and fields, each person under their own login. In campaigns (beta), agents find new people who fit your ideal customer profile, draft each email from what your team already knows about the account, run the follow-ups, stop when someone replies, and send from the rep's own Gmail only after the rep approves.
Where it falls short. Email comes from Google Workspace only. Outlook mail doesn't sync into the graph, though agents reach Outlook, Outlook Calendar and Teams through connectors in beta. Slack ingests from the moment the app joins a channel, with no backfill. Prospecting and campaigns are in beta on the Executive tier. Prospecting returns a verified email, title and LinkedIn profile for each person but no phone numbers, so for direct dials, intent and technographic data, ZoomInfo is the specialist.
Who it's for. Teams whose context lives in their own conversations, including teams that want their outbound written from it, and builders who already run agents in Claude Code and need the graph to hold up when a second person, with different email rules, starts using it.
Using both
The two graphs hold different data, and they connect. ZoomInfo GTM AI is an MCP server. Day AI's agents connect to MCP servers and read from them. An agent preparing a renewal can pull the account's new subsidiary and the champion's job change from ZoomInfo, then check them against what the customer said on last month's call in Day AI, and write the next step to the deal.
How to choose
- Your agents keep asking who to call. Start with ZoomInfo GTM AI.
- Your agents keep asking what was said, promised or decided on a deal. Start with Day AI.
- You want agents to run outbound, not just research it. Day AI's campaigns (beta) draft each email from your graph and send from the rep's own Gmail after the rep approves.
- A second rep, or a second agent, needs the same context without seeing everyone's inbox. That's the permissions problem Day AI is built around.
- You want the CRM updated. Day AI's agents write back. ZoomInfo's research tools hand you drafts to apply some other way.
- You need both. Run Day AI as the graph of your own activity and connect ZoomInfo over MCP for the market.
